Historic panics

The Wall Street Journal has a worthwhile overview of "Government Bailouts: A U.S. Tradition Dating to Hamilton," covering over 200 years of financial crises. And while I agree with historian Robert E. Wright about Hamilton's efficacy, naming a kid Alexander Hamilton Was Wright is more than I would do.
