Lunar property rights

Salon has a piece on "Who owns the moon?" The issue is a serious one, even if current claims by the likes of Lunar Embassy are hard to take seriously. It might not be that long before some private person or company is in a position to scoop up some lunar regolith to bolster a property claim.
